This has been a very productive year for the Youth Club and its ever-increasing membership. Sessions are held every Monday evening at The Pavilion from 7– 9pm and are open to all young people in the village from the time that they leave education at Downham Feoffees School or equivalent education. Normally about 25 young people attend. A team of volunteer youth leaders who, between them, have a huge range of skills and experience supervises the young people. The team have worked hard to create an environment where young people can safely ‘hang out’, but also a situation where they can talk about their aspirations to people who really do take an interest in their abilities.
